Games London has opened the applications to three key parts of the London Games Festival programming.
As announced in October, the London Games Festival 2023 will return next year and runs from Wednesday 29 March to Saturday 8 April.
Games businesses across the world are now invited to apply and be part of the festival’s tentpole B2B events, games line-ups and more.
Applications are open now for the Games Finance Market (Thursday 30 March & Friday 31 March), the Official Selection (which goes live at the start of the festival, 29 March), and Open Studios, a new suite of events run at games businesses across the country (Monday 3 April & Tuesday 4 April).
More information on each – including off-site application form links, key info and deadlines – can be found below. There is no cost to apply for any of these although successful admittance to some programming requires accreditation fee payment.
GAMES FINANCE MARKET
What is it: The tentpole LGF event connecting games makers with funders. Games London invites studios and investors to apply to attend. Accreditation is required for this key event – we build the meeting schedules for the whole two-day event. This year the Finance Market is in-person only at the Truman Brewery (part of WASD) on Thursday 30 March & Friday 31 March.

OFFICIAL SELECTION
What is it: The festival’s annual line-up of 30 to 40 upcoming games from around the world. The line-up is curated by the festival team and represents key themes and exciting topics. Games are showcased online, in person, and through demos

Who can apply: Games studios / creators, publishers, PR representatives from around the world
What’s needed: Details on your studio and game, including release timings, screenshots and assets

OPEN STUDIOS
What is it: A new LGF programme, inviting games businesses across the country to host events onsite at their studios / premises. A chance to run B2B networking events, playtests, career days, etc. Official Open Studios events will only run on Monday 3 April and Tuesday 4 April.
