ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The Game Changer programme supports London-based games business founders from underrepresented backgrounds. The programme helps founders make significant strides to develop their business acumen and become investment-ready through workshops, mentoring, and networking events. This year’s programme will run from July 2024 to December 2024. The programme covers:
- Workshops (in-person and online), covering topics such as company vision, audience validation, marketing, legal advice, finance, pitching and more.
- Founder mentoring with five 1-to-1 hour-long sessions.
- An outbound mission to Slush in Helsinki, a leading start-up event that brings founders and investors from around the globe to one spot (flights, hotels and event tickets covered by Game Changer).
- The programme culminates in the Game Changer Finance Market, taking place in central London, where the cohort will pitch and connect to financiers and publishers.
The 2023 cohort featured over 30 companies working across the games spectrum including VR/XR, PC/Console, Mobile, Edtech, Well-being and Social/Networking Platforms.
