We want Games London events to be accessible for all, and for everyone to feel welcome and included at our events.
There is no typical Games London attendee and everyone attending our events has different needs. We will be happy to provide information about the event to allow you to plan your day for maximum comfort, including but not limited to; closest accessible transport stations; available breakout/quiet spaces; seating arrangements; any refreshments provided or where refreshments may be available nearby; content e.g. flashing images or high volumes; specific timings and when an event is expected to finish. If you would like to discuss your visit to a Games London event please email joe.carter@games.london.
It is a legal requirement for events organisers to make reasonable accessibility adjustments requested up to eight weeks in advance of the event date. We will endeavour to make any reasonable adjustments we can within four weeks of the event. If you have a request less than four weeks from the event please contact us as soon as possible to maximise the chance of us being able to respond.
All venues used by Games London programmed events for London Games Festival 2020 (HUB @ Somerset House, Games Finance Market, Trafalgar Square Festival, Games Character Parade) are fully accessible from street level, but please see accessibility statements on the Somerset House and Strand Palace Hotel websites for up to the minute information and specifics. For other London Games Festival events not organised by us, please see the websites of the respective events/venues.
For information on equality of opportunity at Games London events, please see our Equal Opportunity Statement.
