Volunteering at the London Games Festival
Opportunities at the festival
This is an exciting chance to be part of the UK’s biggest video games event, which aims to reach over 60,000 attendees this year.
Events include the London Games Festival HUB, which involves a series of talks with some of the sector’s most prominent and prolific personalities. Based at Somerset House in central London, the event will also provide a demo and exhibition space for games businesses to showcase their work and network.
Returning this year, we’ll have the 3rd edition of the Ensemble exhibition, showcasing BAME UK video games talent, which champions game developers from a broad spectrum of roles and a wide variety of backgrounds. The 2020 Ensemble Exhibition will be featured at the LGF HUB as well as other locations.
The Trafalgar Square Games Weekend will celebrate and highlight games culture in one of London’s most iconic public spaces. Over the last three years we’ve filled the Square with a true range of content from giant board games and real life versions of classic arcade games through to augmented reality challenges and esports championships, LEGO statues and photo opps.
For 2020 our plan includes a main stage of competitive games, plus music performances, retail moments, cosplay and more.
