Iain Lee will be hosting a dedicated live interview with John Hanke, the CEO of Pokémon Go developer Niantic, as the opening keynote for London Games Festival’s Mixed Reality Summit.

The broadcaster and comedian will be interviewing the exec behind 2016’s most talked-about game in a fireside chat that opens the Tuesday morning event dedicated to augmented reality, virtual reality, and everything in between.

This three-hour event takes place at Regent Street Cinema, and runs from 10am to 1pm. Tickets are £35 and be purchased here

Hanke – whose company Niantic has been behind two pioneering AR geolocation games, Pokémon Go and Ingress – will discuss his studio’s core focuses: exploration, exercise and social, which have been the main pillars of Pokémon Go and Ingress.

This event is one of three conferences that make up the London Games Festival 2017 Summit line-up, joined by the AI Summit on Monday 3 April – with an exciting celebrity guest to be announced – and the Games Culture Summit, which takes place on Friday, 31 March.

We also have our W.In ‘Women In…’ event on 7 April at The Hospital Club.

Tickets for all these events can be bought here
