Join Sumo Digital, Modern Dream, Autodesk and Escape Technology for an insight into growing a games company from start-up to triple-A.

Autodesk and Escape Technology have a rich history of ensuring that games studios are equipped with the tools they need to create new and compelling interactive experiences. Inviting along two inspiring success stories - this is an exclusive opportunity to learn how two UK games companies (a start-up and a triple-A) got to where they are today and the tools that helped them get there.

Sumo Digital
As one of the UK’s leading game development studios Sumo Digital have produced triple-A titles for major gaming platforms such as XBox One, PS4 and Nintendo Wii. Starting with a team of 15 people, they now employ over 270 across their head office in Sheffield and a dedicated art studio in India. And with no plans on stopping there, they recently opened a third studio in Nottingham. Sumo Digital rarely have time to present at conferences so this really is an exclusive opportunity to hear from them as they embark on an exciting new era as a fully independent games company.

Modern Dream
Selected as a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit in 2013, Oliver Clarke established Modern Dream and released “Typing of the Dead: Overkill” for SEGA. An award winning games company, Modern Dream continue to make waves in the indie-games arena, proving time and again their ability to initiate, produce and deliver market quality titles for all platforms.
